so my question is, if you’re setting up this system, can you have multiple inbound phone numbers so that customers in different countries can make a local call to the same PDX hosted by 3CX? what I’m trying to achieve is a way to call clients and then have them call me back using a local number if possible. I only have two countries that I need those local calls to happen. Or if I have an 800 number, what range of countries with that apply to?

I got it the first round a year or so ago and refunded pretty quickly. It looks great at first glance the thing you realize it’s a lot of random stuff that doesn’t really do an audit on your website, as you’ve pointed out. My biggest rip though was if you generated report in your account, it was considered a premium report, but when you share the URL with somebody to view the report that doesn’t have a premium account they don’t see all the data that you see, so you’re looking at one report and sharing a dumbed down report.

If you buy with AppSumo and it does not work out, you can return it. I confess I brought it on this deal and a few days later returned it as I was not impressed.

Hi Dave, always love your stuff - please can you cover SFTP using Mac into Siteground file manager (or any hosting probably)? I get it to work when copy/pasting the zip file, extracting, etc, but can't get the sftp to work, and I suspect it has something to do with the SSL on Mac like you hinted at earlier. (I fixed that like you said, but I'm getting this error when exporting via SFTP even after re-logging in with before export) I keep getting a string of errors related to this error ...app/public/wp-content/plugins/simply-static-pro/vendor/phpseclib/phpseclib/phpseclib/Net/SSH2.php:1393

Do you have to redeploy the entire website when making any change to your WordPress theme? Or can you 'simply' deploy the files that were modified for a specific page(s).

Mailgun has changed their pricing grid (as of of this post). They don’t offer a Trial option anymore. It’s been renamed to Free Plan and includes 100 emails a day or 3,000-3,1000 per month (assuming you send 1 message per day… not likely). If you are under 100 subs then you should be fine and you have free plan. When you sign up (I just signed up) and click submit on the first page, they will bring you to a page to enter your credit card and put you automatically in the $15 or $35 per month plan). Look to the second column where it displays your price after the first month. There is a dropdown with their packages. Switch it to “Free” and it will bypass you having to enter any credit card. As far as the commenter above complaint, they are indeed kind of snarky and sneaky of the default plans they put you on when enrolling… Just make sure you confirm and READ the entire enrollment page and select the Free plan in the dropdown. As far as the API Dave references in the video under My Account - that hasn’t changed! At least as of June 2024. Finally I sent them a feedback email before writing this comment and told them they need to be more transparent and included screenshots of their plan selection and enrollment pages and gave them a little scolding for being kind of squirly and snarky about their marketing practices.

Hi Dave! Thanks for the tutorial! It was very helpful! Is there anything we need to do to after setting it up? Like maintaining the Digital Ocean droplet (like updating the OS) aside from regularly updating Ghost? Read a number threads on the forums server maintenance is needed. Not a techie here, so I'm not too sure what else I have to do aside from updating Ghost every two weeks.

I was just about to rant about how this app has no descriptions, sub-tasks, or lists. But downloaded it and they do kinda have those, although a bit clunky, and hiding wayyyy down after scrolling in the edit task window. Switching apps for calendars, notes or checklists sucks and is confusing. Apple has Notes, Reminders, and Calendar - which I think should be combined into ONE app. Not sure why Apple is missing the boat on such a core important use case. Might give this app a second look...

At about 10:25 you mentioned that the default was to send to "all subscribers." I think that checkbox actually ELIMINATES "inactive" subscribers from your send. If a subscriber has not opened emails for a while they will not receive a message sent with that box checked. I have an old SendFox account that I haven't used much, but now I'm poking around in there to see about it. 🙂

This video was so helpful and definitely alleviated the nerves of migrating a friend’s website.
